This product is a Class IIA medical device and has undergone clinical trials to test its effectiveness in the treatment of allergic rhinitis including hayfever (Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis). This unit contains special chips of 652±10nm & 940nm in each nose tube.

The wavelengths released by these chips are purposed to irradiate the mucous membrane inside the nose.

One wavelength promotes increased blood flow and circulation and the second wavelength (red light therapy) suppresses the cells that release histamine and reduces inflammation, thereby relieving the irritating symptoms of allergic rhinitis. 940nm wavelength cannot be seen by naked eyes. The color of the 652±10nm and 940nm provides different deep layer energy to the epitrichium.

 

The performance is much more outstanding than that by the single wavelength products. The LivingLAB PhotonNose can be used alone or alongside your normal allergy medication. How to use of this unit

 

1.  Open the battery cover at the bottom of the body and insert one pc of 9V battery inside of the battery compartment.

2. Press the ON/OFF button on the main body, red 652±10nm special wavelength cold lights will appear on the end of the tube. (940nm wavelengths are activated, too, but you cannot see with your naked eyes).

3. Insert the two nose tubes into the nose as comfortably as you feel and clamp it.

4. The unit will automatically power down after it is activated for approximately 3 minutes.  (One treatment cycle is around three minutes)

5. During treatment, press the ON/OFF button, the unit will be turned off.

 

The LivingLAB PhotonNose can be used three to four times per day, allowing five to six hours between each treatment.

 

Battery Replacement

When the battery power is weak, the ON/OFF button will flash.  Replace new battery to maintain the strength of the light treatment.  Open the battery cover at the bottom of the body and insert the new battery per the direction inside of the battery compartment.  Put back battery cover.

 

1.             Remove the battery if the product is not in use for long periods of time.

2.            Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.

3.            Batteries should be handled under adult supervision.

4.            Dispose of batteries safely according to the battery manufacturer’s instructions.

 

Troubleshooting

If you encounter problems with the operation of your device, please check the following points to see if they can be rectified. 

Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the device yourself.

 

Conditions	Possible Cause and Solution
1. Without light on the nose tube after ON button is pressed.	● Cause: Batteries may be worn out.   Solution: Replace with new batteries. ● Cause: Batteries may not be placed in the correct   polarities.   Solution: Place batteries according to the polarities indicated.
2. Without light on one of the nose tube after ON button is pressed.	● Cause: DC connector inserts to the bottom or DC connector does not connect very good.   Solution: Re-insert DC connector to the bottom.

Warning: If batteries leak and come into contact with the skin or eyes, wash immediately with copious amounts of water. 

Product Care

1. Remove battery after each use to prevent any damage caused by battery deterioration or leaking.

2. This product is not waterproof, do not clean with liquid cleaner.  You can clean the dirty surface by wiping it with wet cloth.  Do not allow water to enter the main body.

3. After each use, use cotton swab with 70% concentration alcohol to clean the nose tube.  Prohibit the use of 100% alcohol or other organic solvents to clean the nose tube and main body

Warnings

1. Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult when using this product.

2. Keep the device out of the reach of children.

3. Not suitable for use with a pacemaker or other implanted medical devices.

4. Not suitable for persons with Nasal Polyposis, sensitive skin in the nose or with poor circulation.

5. Never look directly into the light beams emitted, even when using an optical instrument (for example – glasses). 

6. Avoid using the device in the vicinity of flammable or anaesthetic gases.
